Hardware connection

To connect a MachineManager with the Proficloud.io a gateway solution is required. Our recommended solution is to use the EM-MODBUS-GATEWAY-IFS in combination with the EPC 1502. You can also use any other device running NodeRED instead of the EPC 1502.

For the physical installation of EMM 3-24DC/500AC-xxx-EXM-IFS and EM-MODBUS-GATEWAY-IFS, please checkout the package slip.
After the physical installation is done, connect the Ethernet port of the EM-MODBUS-GATEWAY-IFS to X2 of the EPC. X3 needs to be connected to a network with internet access.
